Zugang für alle / Access for all
Die im Jahr 2000 gegründete Stiftung Zugang für alle hat zum Ziel, Menschen mit Behinderungen in der Schweiz einen barrierefreien Zugang zum Internet zu ermöglichen.
Unter anderem möchte die Stiftung Menschen mit Behinderungen zu Web Accessiblity Spezialisten ausbilden und ihnen zusätzlich Webmaster-Schulungen und das Erwerben von anerkannten Zertifikaten ermöglichen. Derzeit befinden sich zwei blinde respektive sehbehinderte Menschen in dieser Ausbildung – und werden schweizweit die ersten Webmaster mit Sehbehinderung sein.
Junge Menschen mit Behinderung erhalten damit durch "Zugang für alle" eine umfassende IT-Grundausbildung, dank welcher sie das Internet aktiv mitgestalten können.
Die Kosten für einen Ausbildungsplatz sind mit CHF 50'000 pro Jahr beträchtlich. Die KPMG Foundation möchte "Zugang für alle" unterstützen und bei der Ausbildungsfinanzierung mithelfen, damit auch in Zukunft junge Menschen mit Behinderung die Möglichkeit offen steht, das Internet aktiv mitzugestalten und zu erfahren.

"Access for all" is a recognized Swiss non profit organization founded in 2000. One of the organization’s aims is to make the internet as accessible as possible, i.e. “barrier free”, for people with disabilities.
So, among other things, "Access for all" offers people with disabilities the opportunity to become Web Accessibility Specialists and participate in Webmaster training courses and acquire recognized certificates. Two young people have been attending such a course and will soon qualify as the first visually-impaired Webmasters in all of Switzerland.
Thanks to "Access for all", young people with disabilities can get a thorough, basic IT education.
With CHF 50.000 per year, the costs for training places are considerable. The KPMG Foundation, therefore, would like to provide financial support for "Access for all" so that young people with disabilities can continue to benefit from IT education and take part in creating and experiencing the internet themselves.
