How the KPMG Foundation Platform works
Le Growth Generator est un Social Collaboration Tool, un instrument grâce auquel KPMG et ses membres ainsi que leurs parents, leurs connaissances, leurs clients, leurs fournisseurs, leurs partenaires et les autres personnes intéressées tentent de collecter un million de francs pour un projet de dons commun intitulé "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant". Vous pouvez y présenter des projets personnels et ainsi encourager les visiteurs à participer au projet de dons, entretenir vos contacts avec des amis et des partenaires commerciaux et bien sûr faire des dons. KPMG Suisse double tous les dons du Growth Generator jusqu’à une somme maximale d’un demi-million de francs. Le montant global, collecté par "KPMG Anniversary Foundation" (une fondation d’utilité publique créée par KPMG), est intégralement consacré au projet de dons "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant".
Il peut arriver que nos messages aboutissent dans le dossier du courrier indésirable. Nous vous recommandons donc d’ajouter l’adresse électronique noreply@growthgenerator.ch dans la liste des expéditeurs approuvés. Si vous ne trouvez pas non plus le courriel de confirmation dans le dossier du courrier indésirable, contrôlez bien votre adresse électronique lors d’une deuxième inscription dans le Growth Generator ou contactez-nous à l’adresse CH-FMAnniversary@kpmg.com.
Une fois engeristré dans le Growth Generator, cliquez dans la rubrique "Personnel" sur "Modifier profil / mot de passe". Cliquez sur le bouton "Browse" dans le le paragraphe "Télécharger une photo". Sélectionnez ensuite parmi vos données une image au format .jpg, .gif ou .tif et cliquez sur "Enregistrer". La taille de l’image est automatiquement adaptée.

Registrieren Sie sich kostenlos für die KPMG Foundation-Plattform über den Button "Jetzt registrieren" auf der Startseite. Sobald Sie angemeldet sind, können Sie den vollen Funktionsumfang der Plattform nutzen (sich mit anderen Benutzern austauschen; Projekten beitreten, um die neuesten Informationen zu erhalten etc.). Sie können allerdings auch für Projekte und Initiativen spenden, ohne sich auf der Plattform zu registrieren.

1. What is the KPMG Foundation platform?
The KPMG Foundation platform demonstrates social commitment at two levels:
  • Donors can directly support individual KPMG Foundation projects
  • KPMG employees can collect money for the KPMG Foundation by launching their own initiatives

2. How can I register on the platform? What will registering allow me to do?
Use the “Register now” button on the homepage to register on the KPMG Foundation platform for free. Once you have logged in, you can enjoy the full functionality of the platform (exchange views with other users; join projects in order to receive the latest information, etc.). However, you can also make donations to projects and initiatives without registering on the platform.
3. Why didn’t I receive a confirmation e-mail after registering?
It’s possible that our e-mails might have landed in your spam folder. If you can’t find the confirmation e-mail in your spam folder, please re-register and check your e-mail address again. If you still do not receive the confirmation e-mail, contact us kpmgfoundation(AT)kpmg.ch.
Employee initiatives
Le Growth Generator est accessible à tous, gratuitement. Les membres de KPMG Suisse et leurs parents, leurs connaissances, leurs clients, leurs fournisseurs, leurs partenaires ainsi que les autres personnes intéressées sont tous cordialement invités à soutenir le projet de dons "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant" par leur engagement.
Tous les tiers, y compris les clients de KPMG Suisse, peuvent soutenir les projets financièrement. De même, les membres d’entreprises tierces ou les clients de KPMG Suisse peuvent participer aux projets des membres de KPMG ou lancer leurs propres projets. Les fonds collectés ne passent à aucun moment par KPMG Suisse – ils sont gérés par "KPMG Anniversary Foundation", créée tout exprès à cet effet.
Il existe différents moyens de soutenir les projets dans le Growth Generator:
  • Adhérez à votre projet favori et informez-vous régulièrement de l’état d’avancement des projets. Peut-être que l’un des projets a justement besoin de votre soutien?
  • Ou signalez vos projets favoris sur les réseaux et attirez l'attention de vos amis sur les bons projets.
  • Favorisez la réalisation d’un projet par un don en espèces. Par la même occasion, vous soutenez ainsi le projet de dons "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant".
Le Growth Generator se concentre sur des projets exigeants, qui favorisent le développement personnel des participants et les inspirent. Cela peut également consister à confectionner et vendre des gâteaux puis à verser les recettes par "KPMG Anniversary Foundation" au "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant" sous forme de don – dans la mesure où cela peut constituer un défi pour vous. En fin de compte, c’est à vous de déterminer ce qui représente un authentique défi pour vous, personnellement.
D’une manière générale, les règles du jeu sont les suivantes: vous choisissez une activité vous permettant de progresser sur le plan personnel. Il s’agit de vous imposer une épreuve, de quitter votre zone de confort. Ainsi, ne vendez des gâteaux maison que si cela constitue bel et bien un défi pour vous.
Le Growth Generator se fonde sur l’engagement personnel. Vous devez donc prendre en charge vous-même les coûts des activités et le temps de travail investi. L’assurance aussi est à la charge des participants.
Et souvenez-vous que l’événement central est l’anniversaire de KPMG – veillez donc à rester tout à fait convenable.
Si vous avez encore des incertitudes, adressez-vous simplement à notre Community Manager.
En principe, les assurances (notamment accidents et RC) sont à la charge des participants. Les membres de KPMG sont assurés contre les accidents dans le cadre de leurs conditions d’engagement. Mais cette assurance accidents ne couvre pas toutes les activités et il est donc indiqué de tirer au clair la couverture d’assurance, surtout pour les activités liées à des risques. Le Community Manager vous renseignera volontiers.
Engagierte Mitarbeitende der KPMG haben sich zum Ziel gesetzt, in ihrer Freizeit die KPMG Foundation zu unterstützen. Dazu haben sie eigene Initiativen lanciert, die sie persönlich herausfordern, beispielsweise das Rauchen aufgeben oder einen Marathon rennen. Besucher der Plattform können dann für diese Initiative spenden. Der gespendete Betrag fliesst vollumfänglich den Stiftungsprojekten zu.
Registriere Dich für die KPMG Foundation-Plattform über den Button "Jetzt registrieren" oben auf der Startseite. Sobald Du angemeldet bist, klickst Du unter der Rubrik "Mitarbeiterinitiaven" auf "Initiative starten". In nur 3 Schritten startest Du Deine eigene Initiative. (1) Fülle dazu alle mit einem Stern (*) markierten Felder aus wie Titel, Ziel, Sprache und Ort (alle Angaben kannst Du auch noch nachträglich bearbeiten), (2) mit einem Klick auf "Nächster Schritt" kannst Du Fotos, Videos oder einen Blog zu Deiner Initiative hinzufügen und (3) mit einem Klick auf "Publizieren" die Initiative veröffentlichen.
Klicke, wenn Du eingeloggt bist, bei Deiner Initiative auf "Projektgrundlagen bearbeiten", um in den Editiermodus zu gelangen und die Initiativeneinstellungen zu ändern. Die Initiativeneinstellungen können nur von Initiativenmitgliedern mit Administratorenrecht geändert werden. Administratorenrecht besitzt Du, wenn Du eine Initiative selbst erstellt hast oder Dir ein Initiativeneigner dieses Recht erteilt hat.
Nein, mit den Mitarbeiterinitiativen können nur Projekte der KPMG Foundation unterstützt werden (siehe auch FAQ Gesuche & Beiträge).
Die Spende wird in die KPMG Foundation ("die Stiftung") einbezahlt und zur Erfüllung des Stiftungszweckes eingesetzt. Falls mit der Initiative Geld für ein bestimmtes Stiftungsprojekt gesammelt wird, fliessen die Spenden diesem Stiftungsprojekt zu.
Um eine Initiative zu löschen, benötigst Du Administratorenrechte. Administratorenrecht besitzt Du, wenn Du die Initiative selbst erstellt hast oder Dir ein Initiativeadministrator dieses Recht erteilt hat. Rufe im eingeloggten Zustand Deine Initiative auf und wähle "Projektgrundlagen bearbeiten". Dort findest Du zuunterst den Link "Projekt löschen". Mit einem Klick darauf und anschliessender Bestätigung wird Deine Initiative mit allen Inhalten gelöscht. Beachte aber bitte, dass KPMG, solange die KPMG Foundation-Plattform in Betrieb ist, archivierte Kopien Deiner Initiativeninhalte aufbewahren kann.
1. What is an employee initiative?
Employees of KPMG are committed to supporting the KPMG Foundation. Initiatives which represent a personal challenge, like giving up smoking or running a marathon, can be launched throughout the year. Visitors to the platform can then show their support by donating to the initiative. The full amount of the donation will go toward the Foundation’s projects.
2. How can I start an employee initiative?
Use the “Register now” button at the top of the homepage to register on the KPMG Foundation platform. As soon as you have logged in, click “Start initiative” under “Employee initiatives”. You can start your own initiative in just three steps. (1) Fill out all the fields marked by an asterisk (*) like title, objective, language and location (all details can also be edited at a later point in time), (2) Click “Next step” to add pictures, videos, or a blog, and then (3) Click “Publish”.
3. How can I change my initiative settings? (KPMG employees only)
Once you have logged on, switch to edit mode and change your initiative settings by going to “Edit project basics” in your initiative. The initiative settings can only be changed by initiative members with administrator rights. You only have administrator rights if you created the initiative yourself or the initiative owner assigned them to you.
4. Can I start an initiative and raise money for a charitable project other than a Foundation project? (KPMG employees only)
No, employee initiatives can only be launched to support KPMG Foundation projects. Please also see the applications & contributions FAQs.
5. What happens to the money I’ve donated to an initiative?
Your donation will be paid to the KPMG Foundation (“the Foundation”) and allocated in furtherance of the purposes of the Foundation. If the initiative is used to raise money for a particular Foundation project, any donations will indeed go to that project.
6. How can I delete an employee initiative on the KPMG Foundation platform? (KPMG employees only)
You need administrator rights to delete an initiative. You only have administrator rights if you created the initiative yourself or the initiative administrator assigned them to you. When you are logged in, retrieve your initiative and select “Edit project basics”. At the very bottom you will see “Delete the project.” Click this link and then confirm that you want to delete your initiative and all its content. Please note, however, that KPMG may retain archived copies of your initiative content as long as the KPMG Foundation platform is in operation.
Donations and fundraising goal
Beim Erstellen Deiner Initiative kannst Du entscheiden, ob das von Dir gesammelte Geld an (1) die KPMG Foundation allgemein gehen soll (welche die Spende gemäss den Stiftungsstatuten verwaltet und zur Erfüllung des Stiftungszweckes einsetzt); oder (2) direkt an ein bestimmtes Stiftungsprojekt der Foundation gehen soll.
1. What happens to the donations collected through my initiative?
When you set up an initiative, you have to specify if the money you raise will be allocated to (1) the KPMG Foundation (who then will administer the donation in accordance with the Foundation's articles of incorporation and allocate the money to further purposes of the Foundation) or (2) directly to a specific KPMG Foundation project you name.

Dadurch wird sichergestellt, dass die getätigten Spenden dem Stiftungszweck, -Prinzipien und Prioritäten der Stiftung nicht widersprechen.
3. Who selects the Foundation projects?
The KPMG Foundation’s trustees compile a list of charitable projects that have submitted an application for financial support but which could not be considered due to insufficient Foundation funds, or projects which have already received support from the KPMG Foundation but which require further support. This ensures that the donations that are made do not run contrary to the Foundation’s purposes, principles and priorities.
L’objectif de dons pour le projet d’anniversaire est un défi que nous nous proposons de relever. Nous avons sciemment choisi un montant élevé. Nous pouvons avoir un impact important même sans atteindre la barre du million de francs. En tous les cas, le montant collecté par "KPMG Anniversary Foundation" (la fondation d’utilité publique créée par KPMG) est versé au "KPMG’s Inspiration Grant".

4. Who sets the fundraising goal and the donation deadlines?
The fundraising goal and the donation deadlines are set by the KPMG Foundation trustees after clarifying the amount of support that is required for the respective Foundation project.
Die Spende wird von der KPMG Foundation entgegen genommen, gesammelt und nach Erreichung des Spendenziels oder nach Ablauf der für den Spendenaufruf zeitlichen Limite dem ausgewählten Stiftungsprojekt weitergeleitet bzw. gespendet.
5. If I make a donation to a particular Foundation project, is the money transferred directly to this charitable project?

The donation is accepted by the KPMG Foundation, collected and forwarded or donated to the Foundation project once the fundraising goal has been reached or the deadline for the donations has passed.

Das zu diesem Zeitpunkt gesammelte Geld wird der KPMG Foundation gespendet bzw. falls vom Initiativenbesitzer spezifiert, direkt an ein bestimmtes Stiftungsprojekt weitergeleitet.
6. What happens if the fundraising goal is not achieved by the donation deadline?

All of the money that has been collected at this point in time will be donated to the KPMG Foundation or to a specific Foundation project - as specified by the initiative owner upon project creation.

Data projection / Legal aspects
Veuillez signaler les contenus choquants en cliquant sur "Réclamation", en haut à droite de la page du projet correspondant. Nous vérifierons alors si le projet contrevient à des principes légaux ou éthiques et, le cas échéant, nous prendrons les mesures qui s’imposent.
Votre adresse électronique n’est jamais transmise et n’est pas visible pour les autres membres. En outre, vous pouvez configurer votre profil de manière à empêcher la publication de vos informations personnelles.
Sachez toutefois qu’il n’est pas possible d’empêcher explicitement la publication des données (contenus relatifs à la personne et au projet) que KPMG utilise à des fins rédactionnelles, par exemple en présentant votre projet sur la page d’accueil. Mais nous pouvons vous garantir que nous le ferons exclusivement dans l’intérêt de nos membres et de leurs projets.
Pour supprimer un projet, vous devez disposer de droits d’administrateur. Sélectionnez "Editer les bases de projet" dans le centre de projet. Vos trouverez alors un lien "Supprimer le projet" tout en bas de la page. Cliquez sur ce lien puis confirmez votre choix et le projet sera définitivement supprimé, avec tous ses contenus. Vous possédez des droits d’administrateur si vous avez créé vous-même le projet ou si un auteur de projet vous a octroyé ces droits.

Sie können Ihre Nutzerdaten bei der KPMG Foundation-Plattform jederzeit löschen. Gehen Sie dazu in "Mein Bereich" auf "Profil / Passwort bearbeiten" und wählen Sie "Löschen" zuunterst auf der Seite. Die Nutzerdaten werden dadurch definitiv gelöscht.
Wird eine Mitarbeiterinitiative gelöscht, sind die Inhalte nicht mehr online sichtbar. KPMG kann aber, solange die KPMG Foundation-Plattform in Betrieb ist, archivierte Kopien der Initiativeninhalte aufbewahren.
1. How can I control my privacy?
You can block your personal information from being published in your personal profile. Please be aware of the fact that any data (personal and initiative-related content) for which publication is not explicitly blocked can be used by KPMG for editorial purposes (promotion of an initiative within the KPMG Foundation platform, in internal KPMG publications, etc.). This might mean that we present an initiative on the homepage, for example. We guarantee, however, that this will only be done in what we assume to be the best interests of our members and their initiatives and following agreement with the initiative owner.
2. How can I delete my user data on the KPMG Foundation platform?
You can delete your user data on the KPMG Foundation platform at any time. To do so, go to “Edit profile / password” in the “Personal” section and select “Delete” at the very bottom of the page. This will permanently delete the user data.
3. How long do pictures, videos and other information remain on the KPMG Foundation platform?
If an employee initiative is deleted, its content will no longer be visible online. However, KPMG may retain archived copies of Initiative content as long as the KPMG Foundation platform is in operation.
