“For KPMG, success and responsibility go hand in hand. As a successful company, we feel a sense of responsibility toward society which extends beyond the scope of our business activities – that is the core idea behind the KPMG Foundation.”
Dr. Hubert Achermann (Chairman of the KPMG Foundation)Why did KPMG establish a foundation?
Sustainability and social commitment are two of KPMG’s most important values. We take the topic of corporate social responsibility very seriously and encourage our Partners and staff to make a positive contribution in their own social environments. In order to live up to these aspirations outside our core business, the KPMG Foundation was created in December 2007 as an entity that is independent of KPMG AG.Purpose of the KPMG Foundation
The KPMG Foundation promotes projects related to the following: education, culture, integration of socially disadvantaged people, people with disabilities and people in crisis situations. The focus is on projects and organizations that are marginalized or less well-known and have difficulties obtaining funding as a result.Double commitment
The KPMG Foundation platform demonstrates social commitment at two levels:- Donors can directly support individual KPMG Foundation projects
go to Foundation projects - KPMG employees can collect money for the KPMG Foundation by launching their own initiatives
go to Employee initiatives
The KPMG Foundation board
The KPMG Foundation comprises employees of KPMG. The Foundation board members bear all expenses and administrative costs themselves so that 100% of all donations can be used for good causes. Thanks for your interest and support!
