12. Zürcher Samichlaus-Schwimmen

For the last few years, IES in Zürich has had several members take part in the annual Santa Swim in downtown Zürich. We're expanding this year and our group is now 10 members from both KPMG in Switzerland and the UK! While the main point of this project is to go out and have fun, we warmly welcome donations, which will benefit the KPMG Foundation.

If you don't want to get wet, still feel free to join us on Sunday, December 4th at 14:00! We'll be starting from Restaurant Pier 7 and getting out at the Frauenbad.

Survivors!

We would like to thank all those that came out to cheer us on. With relatively "mild" weather in Zürich on Sunday, it was an enjoyable swim across the Limmat and we didn't lose a single person or body part. Thanks to Adrian and Ben who brought some summery blow up floaty devices, it was much easier for the spectators to locate us as we crossed.

Countdown to December 4th

We'd like to send a BIG THANKS! to everyone who has donated to our project. The swim is this Sunday and while we have yet to have any snow in the Zurich area, we'll be sure to get into the holiday spirit with our chilly dip in the river.

Tickets for the swim!

Tickets for the event are limited to approximately 325 total, so if you would like to join, please contact us right away. We'd love to have a bigger crew for the swim.

Participant update

We are pleased to have Mille Wallander join us for the Santa Swim.
Originally from KPMG in Sweden, Mille has joined the IES UBS Central Team on a six month assignment. Our group seems to be becoming more international, we now have swimmers hailing from the following countries:
Switzerland
Sweden
Australia
